On April 17 immigration authorities of Saskatchewan conducted the fresh draw in the EOI and issued 324 invitations to applicants in select occupations.
The draw had a focus on:
- Land Surveyors
- Tailors, dressmakers, furriers, and milliners
- Technical occupations in meteorology and geomatics and finally
- Appliance repairers/services.
There were 114 invitations to the provincial Express Entry candidates, and the score requirement was 60 points.
Additionally, there were 210 invitations to the top Demand Occupations candidates, and the score requirement was 60 points. Furthermore, these candidates had ECA which is a norm for the provincial applications.
The top Demand Job List was updated and four Job codes were removed.
Also, in the draw, held on March 6th, 2019, 138 invitations were issued, and there were no specifications regarding the NOC codes.
There were 70 invitations to the Express Entry candidates, at 67 points.
In-Demand candidates received 68 invitations at 81 points.

EOI Process
- Submitting the EOI profile
- Entering the EOI pool.
- Selection of EOI candidates.
- Issuing invitations for applying through regular draws.
- Submitting the full application by the Candidates in 60 days.
- Assessment of the applications by the Program officials and taking the decision.
Sub-Category Requirements
- Scoring 60 points in its Program point-assessment grid;
- Having CLB 4 language score. Some Employers can also ask for a higher score;
- Completing a year of training/ education,/apprenticeship equivalent to the education system of Canada, leading to earning a diploma/ degree, or a certificate
- Work experience for One year during the last ten years in a field of education/training and
- In a job in NOC A B 0, figuring in the top demand job list.
- Obtaining proper license in the province if it is a field requirement.
- Evidence of settlement funds/plan.
- Paying the $300 fee (online and non-refundable).
Requirements for the Express Entry Sub-Category
- All the Candidates have to be outside Canada, and also have legal status to qualify for various categories.
- Additionally, they need an EE profile with a profile number and also the job code. They also have to Score 60 points in the Program point-assessment grid;
- They must provide valid test results for a language from a specific testing agency and this has to match with the EE profile;
- Completing a year of post-secondary training/ education,/apprenticeship equivalent to the education system of Canada, leading to earning a diploma/ degree, or a certificate
- One - year work experience during the last ten years in a skilled profession belonging to the non-trade category
- work experience (2 years) in the skilled trades in the last five years; and for trades and non-trades it is One year in the last three years
- In a job in NOC A, B, 0, figuring in the top demand occupation list
- Obtaining proper license in Saskatchewan if it is a field requirement
- Evidence of settlement funds/plan
- Paying the $300 fee (online and non-refundable)
