Canadian Government New Immigration Level Targets for 2018-2020

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada has published their targets for immigration for the following three years! As per this new plan, Canada will allow almost 01 million new immigrants within now and 2020! Ahmed Hussen, Immigration Minister 300,000 is the current normal for Canada immigration. 300,000 was the whole immigration objective for 2016 and 2017. Now, I.R.C.C has declared that the 2018 objective will rise to 310,000 overall new Canadian immigrants. By 2019, the aim will further grow to 330,000, and by the end of 2020, it will be 340,000. All said that’s approximately one million immigrants entering Canada within 2018 and 2020.

2018 Related to 2017

The objectives for the upcoming year are very comparable to the ones that were set for 2017. Even more, immigrants will be coming by federal economic streams controlled by the system of Express Entry. I.R.C.C is also proposing to allow more provincial nominees in 2018 when compared with the year 2017. Canada also intends to welcome more immigrants by the streams of family sponsorship in 2018. The program of Parents and Grandparents sponsorship, which was remodified in 2017 to be a lottery system, multiplied from 10,000 to 20,000 in 2017. In 2018, extra 21,000 grandparents and parents will be able to rejoin their families in Canada.
