The Canadian Government is now announcing invitations to appeal to its Parents and Grandparents Program. Canadian Parents and Grandparents Program enables Canadian permanent residents and citizens over the age of 18 to sponsor their parents and grandparents for Canada PR. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada told invitations are being announced in the corresponding order that the forms of Interest to Sponsor were obtained while the submission period took on Jan 28. The initial invitations were announced Apr 24, and I.R.C.C said that it will take a few days to give invitations to all possible sponsors. ITAs will be sent to the email ID given on the form of Interest to Sponsor. However, I.R.C.C said it is probable that some invitations could close up in the spam mail folder, so make sure to check in that folder also. Interested sponsors who get an invitation from I.R.C.C will have 60 days from the invitation date to provide a comprehensive sponsorship application. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada has a goal of 20,000 total applications for its Parents and Grandparents Program in the year 2019. If necessary, I.R.C.C has announced that it may attend other invitation rounds to reach its 2019 target.

Process of Application

Interested sponsors who get an invitation to apply need to submit two comprehensive applications — the first application is to become a sponsor and the other application from their grandparents or parents for permanent residence to Canada. I.R.C.C said it should get two applications at equal time. Candidates need to be sure to utilize the recent forms, and you can find all those forms in the official site of Canada. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada says it is essential to read the instruction guide thoroughly before finishing the application form.
