When to apply?
The academic session universities of Canada usually start around Sept and is split into two terms. The appeal start date changes over different universities, but the application method normally commences 15-18 months prior to the commencement of the course. Process for Study Permit
A study permit is compulsory for foreign students to study in Canada. The requirements for appealing for a study permit are an approval letter from a selected learning institution (DLI) and a passport. Along with these, you also demand to show proof of financial stability which is sufficient for the needs like living expenses, to pay for your tuition fees, and return transportation. You should not have any unlawful records (police certificate may be needed), and you should be in good health (a medical test may also be required).
After verification of your documents, you may then get a letter requesting for your biometrics. In a few cases, you may also be required to go for an interview with officials of Canada in your nation or you may be demanded to give in more information.
If the request is accepted, you will get an introduction letter to confirm, and a temporary resident visa or eTA to enter Canada. If the application is denied, you will get a letter explaining that why your application rejected.
