The provinces of British Columbia and Ontario have held draws in April inviting the newcomers to seek the provincial nominations for Permanent Residence in Canada. There were three draws which issued 190 ITAs. Receiving the provincial nomination is a route to take for immigration. Additionally, it adds 600 CRS points that guarantee a selection in the next Express Entry Draw
The applicants have to get familiar with the programs that can maximize their chance of success.
British Columbia had two draws. The first happened on 2nd April which invited 26 candidates. There was another draw on the 10th which invited 142 candidates. Both the draws attracted the candidates belonging to three Skills Immigration categories and two British Columbia Express Entry categories.

The reason for issuing few invitations in the 2 April draw was the fact of the province specifically targeting the technology workers. Vancouver located in British Columbia has become a tech-hub for companies and startups. Additionally, the province needs professionals who can fill up the vacancies in the new jobs. The province has launched its unique Tech Pilot immigration program and also has a fast processing time for the applicants.
The Ontario PNP draw has invited candidates in its Entrepreneur Stream in the 5th April draw. Moreover, it issued 22 invitations to applicants seeking the provincial nomination. The lowest rank profile met success with a score of 112 only. There was a decline of three points in comparison to the previous draw of 17th January. Furthermore, in the 5 April draw, the province issued the most invitations in the program.
The applying Candidates in this stream earn permanent residency by purchasing a business or also by starting a new company. Immigrants of this stream, also have to meet numerous requirements.
