15,000 Indian Permanent Residents Seek Canadian Citizenship

15,000 Indian Permanent Residents in Canada decided to Canadian Citizenship in the first ten months of 2018. This development reflects, a 50 percent increase, in comparison to the same period in 2017. Moreover, the preliminary data of IRCC shows that one among every ten P.Rs, obtaining the citizenship in Canada, in this period of 2018, belonged to India.

In 2016-17, it was 108,000 but will be 153000 in 2017-18
